Nursery:: Paneled Wall

Is it Paneled or Panelled? When I Google it both options are coming up correct! Anyone know? ANYWAY….When I saw this paneled wall I knew I had a place to implement it. Initially I wanted to do wainscoting in the nursery but began to be bored with it… It seemed to be the norm if you wanted to add architectural interest to a nursery and although I STILL LOVE IT this was the perfect mix for me of something a bit different but still classic. After a few weeks of ‘talking about it and convincing Brad that it would be well worth the work Brad and “Papa” busted it out!

When deciding the measurements Brad was kind enough to draw it out so I could really picture it and decide what was right.

Getting closer

They glued and nailed all the boards into place… Megan and I noticed that a few LESS nails would have been nice when we were filling and caulking all day long!

Yes babies… I built that.

I trimmed in the room while Brad was at work and he was kind enough to roll the big walls right when he got home from work. Nothing like coming home from work to more work Smile

The new paint color up next to the yet to be completed panelled wall.

Along with trimming in the room I also got the closet painted. It is a darker grey than the main color in the room. It coordinates with the Polk a dots and cribs… Yes Polk a dots… That post is next!

Thank you Brad and Rudy “Papa” for my the babies Paneled wall, we really love it! Smile
